About Operation Bluebird

We believe the public square belongs to the public.

Operation Bluebird, Inc., not affiliated with X Corp., is an independent social media company building a new home for open, real-time conversation.

Trust First.

We're rebuilding the experience millions of people once loved: a place where news breaks, ideas collide, communities form, and anyone can have a voice.

But we're not trying to recreate the past.

We're building what comes next.

A social network designed around trust, transparency, user control, and open conversation. A place where free expression is protected, the rules apply equally, bots and manipulation do not determine what matters, and people have meaningful control over what reaches them.

Our platform lives at twitter.now.

Why

Why we're building it

Social media became extraordinarily powerful, but somewhere along the way the people using it lost control.

Algorithms learned to reward outrage. Bots learned to manufacture consensus. Trust became harder to earn and easier to fake.

We think there's a better model.

Technology should help people understand what they're seeing, not quietly decide what they should see.

That's why we're building trust directly into the platform and giving users more control over their own experience.

What we stand for

Freedom of speech, protected. Freedom of reach, earned.

A square that's safe by default, where the rules apply to everyone, and where you, not an algorithm, hold the dial.

Open conversation.

People should be able to speak, disagree, debate, create, and challenge ideas.

User control.

Your feed should work for you, not manipulate you.

Trust through transparency.

Give people more information about what they're seeing and let them decide what to trust.

One set of rules.

Status, politics, money, and popularity shouldn't determine how the rules are applied.

Safety without sanitizing the conversation.

Protect people from illegal and genuinely harmful conduct without turning disagreement into a violation.

People over algorithms.

Technology should support human judgment, not replace it.

The Birdhouse

The Birdhouse

Our principles aren't meant to live in a marketing slogan.

They will be reflected in the Birdhouse Constitution, Community Guidelines, and the product itself.

The full Constitution and Community Guidelines arrive with the platform.

What comes next

We're building a public square worth coming back to.

Not owned by an algorithm.

Not built for bots.

Built for people.

Trust first.
